La Lupita – Honduras
Tasting Notes: White Tea | Pear | Candied Lemon
This is a super exciting coffee for us - we sourced it directly in Honduras while attending the local "Festival Cafe Culture Marcala" in Marcala, Honduras. Ednar submitted his coffee into the Marcala Designation of Coffee Competition, where he placed third with this lot, a honey processed Gesha varietal. Our head roaster in attendance cupped all of the coffees and connected with Ednar afterwards to get this coffee added to our container, it was just that good!
Expect a very elegant, clean cup that is brimming with florals like white tea or rose, a fresh fruit sweetness like pear and bright acidity like candied lemon.
