Espresso
For espresso brewing with our classic line up, we recommend starting with a ratio of 1g coffee to 2g beverage weight (1:2), water temperatures between 94c - 96c and a shot time between 28-32 seconds.
Filter
For filter brewing with our classic line up, we recommend a ratio of 1g coffee to 16g water (1:16) and water temperatures between 92c-94c. As these coffees are roast profiled to be soluble for espresso brewing, you might want to consider a coarser grind setting than typical for filter coffees and lower brewing temperature.
These coffees make a fantastic more traditional profile of filter coffee that is full bodied, less acidity dominant, more sweetness centric and goes great with milk (if that’s your thing!)
General Troubleshooting
If your brew tastes weak, sour, simple, short -> consider grinding finer, increasing coffee dose or increasing brewing water temperature.
If your brew tastes harsh, intense, dry, bitter -> consider grinding coarser, reducing coffee dose or decreasing brewing water temperature.
